A Little bit of This and That

I didn’t get to play alot today but I did play a bit yesterday therefore this update will be semi-long. I don’t know if I should allow Adonica and Jonathan to have another child… I really want a girl because of the awesome outfits I have… I think I am addicted to downloading clothes and hair! Does anyone else feel this way?

I hope you enjoy my two page story today! ^_^

Usually when my Sims’ kids get to a child, he/she is usually best friends with both her parents. Unfortunately Jeffrey wasn’t so I had to get him to socialize with Jonathan when they both have spare time. It basically involved a bunch of red hands, hugging, and jokes…

aw...

I love how kids run over to give their parents a hug when they return. It gets a bit annoying because they cancel whatever you plan for them to do and you have to pause the game and do it again… I think I have the same problem Jen has, I constantly want to make sure they have something to do and don’t just go play Myshuno or something.

This is really weird because I never hired two nannies. This nanny named Heidi just suddenly showed up while Lisa (the old nanny) was there. I had Adonica dismiss Lisa because I don’t want two nannies running around and charging me for two!

I was going to take a series of picture of Jeffrey cleaning the whole house. I realized the toilets, tubs, and sinks were a bit dirty so I had him go around the house scrubbing everything he could. I guess I got a bit carried away with him cleaning everything. Seriously, the maid should be doing all that… :P

I take a lot of useless pictures. Just go with the flow. ;_;

I knew Adonica was gonna go into labor at about 3 am so I didn’t set anything up for Jonathan and Jeffrey to do because I didn’t want them to miss the labor. My kids somehow almost always miss something…

Well, Adonica didn’t go into labor until about 4 am so Jeffrey and Jonathan danced about 1 sim hour. I decided to snap this picture because I thought Jonathan acctually danced pretty well for a daddy! I read somewhere that when you dance more with people you get better and better. That’s what I heard, I’m not sure it’s correct.

The whole time Adonica screamed her head off, I was hoping for a girl.

I don’t have a problem with a boy but I guess I was just hoping for a girl. Anyways, I named him McKale (this is before I did the whole naming idea. I don’t know when I’m acctually gonna be able to use those. Maybe in the third generation?) His name is McKale Ternynck. He has his mother’s violet eyes, his father’s darkish skin tone, and his father’s brown hair color. Needless to say, he looks identical to Jeffrey so far. It would be so nice if they would look different when they grow up… then i could break the whole “clone” business.

While McKale slept soundly in his crib, Jeffrey studied upstairs, and Jonathan snored in the bedroom, Adonica planned a secret shopping getaway. I downloaded some new clothes for them (whoot! Boy clothes also!) and I wanted Adonica to buy them into the Ternynck household.

I took this picture because I was extremely bored and I thought I would at least take one picture of Adonica’s secret shopping getaway. What I didn’t know was that Adonica wasn’t in a good mood when she got there so I wanted her to do the shopping and go home but my computer hates me so it decided to slow down. Therefore, when she finally returned home, her needs were rock bottom.

I’ve been wanting to take a picture of this for a while. This is the room I built in the front of the house. It used to be two bedrooms (I might change it back) but right now since we don’t have that many kids yet, I decided to change them into two nurseries because I find building nurseries a pain. Now whenever my Sims have a girl, I just put them in the girls nursery and if they have a boy it’s the other one. So convinient! Lol. ^_^

Since we’re on the topic of architecture once again, I took another picture that’s a bit better than the one before. I think I’m overly obsessed with this architecture stuff now so I constantly snap pictures. Sorry for my rambling, everyone…

I took this picture because it’s another one of those family picture. The last time I took on of these was when Jeffrey was a toddler. It also shows a good picture of the not-so-special kitchen. Plus, this one has pizza in it! Pizzaaaa… -drools-

  2. Great update, Leslie! Congrats on McKale. About Jane’s Aspiration, I have no idea. I’m sorry. You should have her move in first before gettting them engaged and if you don’t like it, have her move out. Hope that helps :-) Can’t wait to see more of your updates!! Great house, by the way!

  4. hehe I know what you mean about downlaoding! If i start downloading clothes/objects I’ll never stop until I get tired(at night) or something^^ the 2 nursary idea is cool, though I only have one which is suppose to be unisex^^ a gilr and boy cot there.

  5. OK, now I’m hungry for pizza. :-) Great update, Leslie, your family is so cute. Congrats on not having clones! Down with clones! Heh. About Jane, I looked on the TS2Classic Legacy Yahoo Group database and only found a Jane Royce who is a Gardener. Man, there are so many NPCs I’ve never even heard of! Jane is very pretty for a townie, she’d be a great match for Jeffrey. Love the picture of the house with the staircase and the big window!! Awesome. I haven’t had the patience to figure out winding stairways yet. Anyway, I’m done babbling…keep up the great work!

  6. Janice, the unisex room is acctually the best idea. I just had so much extra space in my house I decided to add the room… lol. ^^

    Jen, I’m really happy there aren’t any clones so far. I hope it stays like that!! Thanks for trying to look it up. I’ve never seen her before either but I thought she was really pretty. The stairway is really hard. It took me forever!! I love the Shanley Manor so don’t change it!!
