A New Stage in Life

Hello, everybody, I’m back again and with an update. I have enough pictures for a 3 page post today but I’m not sure mom would be too happy about that. So I can’t say how long this update will be knowing that I will have to stop in the middle of it. I’m hoping it be at least two pages. I apologize for being so inactive this past week. I have so much work to do that I don’t have time to type my updates (usually it takes me an hour to do that).

On my last update I had to delete Justin Ternynck because he was all buggy and no one could interact with him. Jeffrey got home that day with is own problems, he got fired from his job in the slacker career track. Jessica (Justin’s twin sister) grew into a beautiful blonde hair dark blue eye toddler.

When I returned the next day, look who I saw laying on the sidewalk of the Ternynck Mansion. The one and only Justin! He just appeared there like a newborn baby. He didn’t have that stinky diaper with him because his whole needs/wants/age was reset. So I guess Justin Jessica aren’t really twins anymore. How sad is that…

Jane did not want to go to work that day. She wanted to stay home and care for her “newborn” son, Justin. And you know whenever a romance Sim wants something, they usually get it. She gathered up all her courage (which is not a lot considering she has the outgoing personality of 2) and called her boss. Fortunately luck was on her side that day, with a couple of fake coughs and secret giggling, her boss fell for her trick.

“Sure, whatever. Take a day off. You’re not that important anyways.” Her boss responded.

Talk about getting EVERYTHING she wants. Jane wasn’t too insulted by her boss’s comment. In fact, she couldn’t care less about him. Jane asked Jeffrey if they could go downtown that day to get some new clothes for the house. Jeffrey eagerly agreed, volunteering to stay at home and spend some quality time with his kids. Jane quickly persuaded him to come along.

They came home in a good mood.

This picture really scared me. Don’t ask why. It just does.

While changing Justin’s little diapers one day, Jeffrey realized how chubby he got. He has a beer belly! Jeffry wanted Jane to stay physically attracted to him so he made a promise to himself about working out at least once every three days. This was going to be a tough one, but he’s willing to do almost anything to be with Jane.

That night Jonathan decided to treat the family with something nice to eat because he was tired of the mac and cheese the family ate every night. He made sure everyone was occupied with something while he stood beside the oven for 20 minutes waiting for the lobster to cook just right. He took out the first lobster thermidor he’s ever made and couldn’t help feeling a bit proud of himself. He smiled to himself as he served the family with expensive lobster. “Perhaps I should’ve picked a career in culinary instead…”

Jonathan gathered everyone to the dinner table. Everyone was happy to see such a beautifully cooked lobster lay in front of their faces. Everyone except Adonica who was too busy enjoying her coffee in a tea cup. They still gathered together as a family and had a nice dinner with everyone there but Jessica and Justin.

Jane turned out to be a very nice mom. She never had any wants that has anything to do with her kids but she automatically goes and feeds them like any normal mom would. She doesn’t like to admit this to other people but she secretly adores the her kids. Any free time she gets she immediately takes care of her kids.

It’s going to be Jessica’s birthday that day to turn into a child. She got up in the morning to see grandma standing right in front of her crib, ready to let her out. She didn’t even have to cry! (I took this picture because I thought Jessica looked so cute in it!)

  1. Great update, Leslie! I’m so happy Justin’s back! He makes a very cute toddler. And Jessica isn’t that bad either. ;-) I don’t know what causes zits. My guess is that it’s just random. Though I really have no idea. Oh, and what made Jane’s arms go crazy? That looked really weird. Well have a good night and I can’t wait to see what you have for us next!

  3. Great job!! I’ve been reading your stories for a long time and I really like them! I am thinking about starting the legacy challenge! um, i think you need to update more often, though. That would be cool!! I hope I’m not being mean. :D

  4. Jessica- I’m really glad he’s back too. Too bad they can’t age the same… So now technically they’re not twins… :( I think Jane was talking through the bear to Justin or something and she didn’t pick up the teddy… it was odd… her arms are so messed up.

    Shana- Thanks! ^_^

    Lisa- I’m glad you enjoy my stories!! It’s a bit late to be starting the challenge because it ends right when the University comes out but you can still do it for fun if you want to! (Like me) You’re defitnitely not being mean and I agree that I need to update more… ;_;

I just love reading comments! ^__^

  5. Hi Leslie! This update had me laughing out loud. Great job! I’m so glad you got Justin back, even though he’s out of sync with his twin now. Here’s what the Prima Guide says about zits:

Teens get zits of their five-day Hygiene average drops below 50. Acne an be remedied by using the Apply Acne Cream interaction mirrors. Zits go away in about a day and don’t come back for at least five more days.

Usually my Sim teens have zits for a few days before they finally go away (even after they’ve applied the acne cream). But I guess they just need to shower more!

Anyway, your Sim kids are adorable and I love Jessica’s room! Have a good night! :-)

  12. This whole situation is SO absurd. Your post strikes as serious for you only. What can we do but make jokes about it?

  13. From the beginning your blog seemed pretty dull for me. But now it keeps getting better. THIS post is just AWESOME!
